Balega Hike Crew socks are built for hikers who don’t want to choose between softness and performance. The crew-height cuff helps keep trail debris at bay without restricting movement or comfort. Inside, you’ll find a thoughtfully engineered yarn blend: Drynamix™ for moisture control, ZQ™ Traceable Merino wool for breathability and odor regulation, and Tencel™ Lyocell for a luxuriously soft, non-itchy feel—sourced sustainably from natural raw wood.
To support a secure fit, these socks include V-Tech arch compression and elastane strategically placed under and above the heel. A deep heel pocket and triple Y-heel stitching help reinforce the sock’s shape while boosting durability over long-distance hikes. Full mesh venting across the top of the foot keeps air moving, helping release heat on more strenuous climbs.
Lightweight cushioning runs the length of the footbed and wraps around the Achilles and toe box—offering extra comfort where hiking boots make contact. Each pair of Balega Hike Crew socks is individually inspected for quality, so you can trust what’s underfoot on every mile of your journey.
